As you are no doubt aware, from 1 July 2007 it became illegal to smoke in virtually all enclosed public places and workplaces.

One of the purposes of this site is to provide you with detailed information to help you ensure the continued implementation of the new smoking legislation within your workplace. You can navigate around the site by clicking the relevant buttons. You will see that there is specific and detailed information on the legislation; including two downloadable presentations for you to adapt and use within your own workplace. There are also a number of downloadable factsheets regarding smoking legislation and how this applies to a number of different business types.

However, this site also provides you with details of how you can access support for your staff around stopping smoking and details of the opportunities that exist for local industry employers around other workplace health initiatives.
